Background in a healthcare setting:

  • Three years of Nursing School experience.
  • Two of those years were in a clinical setting on the Med-Surg and ICU floors in Lexington, KY.
  • One year at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center as a Float SRCNA on the Brain Injury and Stroke Units.

What is your current focus?

I am currently working as a Patient Advisor for Pharmacy Quality Alliance on Oncology medicine and continue my role as a Patient Advocate with National Patient Advocate Foundation.  Alongside this, I have recently released my website Patient Voices Matter which can be located at Patient Voices Matter.

The website is a free informational resource guide for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Are you still massaging and what are your focus areas?

YES! I am still offering massage but it is on a very limited availability as I have moved over to more of a Patient Advocate role.  I enjoy giving back to the community by working with people battling cancer, and chronic illness, and their caregivers with trauma-informed massage. Body-Mind-Spirit
